Details last updated 24 February 2020
We are seeking candidates for the following positions for contracts to start on 1st August 2020:
We are seeking a Chemistry teacher who can teach both IB Diploma and MYP classes in this subject. Previous experience of either the IB Diploma programme or the MYP would be a considerable advantage, but is not required.
Working with students and teachers across the school in areas of Learning Support and Language Support. Previous experience working in an IB three programme school would be a considerable advantage, but is not required.
We are not aware of any other job opportunities coming up in the near future. However we do expect to be advertising more teaching vacancies for the 2020/21 school year (which begins in August 2020) shortly. Please check back again later.
Any applications for either Moshi or Arusha Campus should include a full CV/résumé and the names and addresses (including e-mail addresses) of two professional referees. It is important to include details of any family members who may accompany you; we are unlikely to offer employment to a spouse unless as part of a teaching couple and local employment opportunities are extremely limited. Current Tanzanian regulations mean that we are only able to consider teachers under fifty five years of age who have a minimum of three years’ teaching experience.
As a minimum requirement, all applicants for teaching positions must have a first degree and a teaching qualification that entitles them to teach in their home country. International teaching experience is also desired. All teachers of diploma level subjects are required to have a minimum of three years’ teaching experience at a similar level, such as IB Diploma, AP, or Advanced Level experience
The school also uses placement agencies to assist in our search for strong teaching candidates. However we encourage direct applications and will not be liable for agency placement fees when teachers contact us directly through this website.
Applications for positions should be made by email to:
or in writing to
