Details last updated 13 April 2020
Due to the difficulties caused by the closure of schools in Tanzania and the suspension of all international passenger flights, we have frozen all hiring of new staff for the 2020/21 school year for the time being. If the situation changes, we will announce appropriately on this site.
This will not affect any staff with whom contracts for teaching in 2020/21 have already been exchanged.
Any applications for either Moshi or Arusha Campus should include a full CV/résumé and the names and addresses (including e-mail addresses) of two professional referees. It is important to include details of any family members who may accompany you; we are unlikely to offer employment to a spouse unless as part of a teaching couple and local employment opportunities are extremely limited. Current Tanzanian regulations mean that we are only able to consider teachers under fifty five years of age who have a minimum of three years’ teaching experience.
As a minimum requirement, all applicants for teaching positions must have a first degree and a teaching qualification that entitles them to teach in their home country. International teaching experience is also desired. All teachers of diploma level subjects are required to have a minimum of three years’ teaching experience at a similar level, such as IB Diploma, AP, or Advanced Level experience
The school also uses placement agencies to assist in our search for strong teaching candidates. However we encourage direct applications and will not be liable for agency placement fees when teachers contact us directly through this website.
Applications for positions should be made by email to:
or in writing to
