Support Our Mission

International School Moshi has a proud history of philanthropy. Since 2002, the generosity of our community has made our Scholarship Programme possible and helped us grow as an institution.

As we became UWC East Africa, we have continued to grow that support. We believe that a student’s potential should determine their future. Our students come from across Tanzania, the region, and the world, united by the UWC mission: to make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. Today, over 80% of our Diploma Programme students receive scholarships, made possible entirely by donors like you. There are many ways to be part of this story. Throughout the year, we run several giving campaigns: our Scholarship Fund, which directly supports student places; our Endowment Fund, which ensures long-term sustainability; and campaigns that cover additional student costs, removing every barrier between a student and the full UWC experience. Whatever form your support takes, it matters.

Individual Support

We are deeply grateful to every alumnus, parent, staff member, and friend of ISM/UWC East Africa who has believed in this mission and helped carry it forward. Because of you, young people across our region are discovering who they are and the difference they can make in the world. Thank you!

Corporate Sponsorship

We are always looking to work with national and international companies in the private sector to enable more opportunities for talented young Africans and to benefit the future leaders of East Africa. If your company would like to offer a scholarship or help match funds then please contact our Advancement Office to see how this could benefit your company, especially working within your CSR policy.

We are grateful for generous funding from Barrick Gold Tanzania (Bulyanhulu Gold Mine), KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and the Mount Meru Petroleum Group who have funded many scholarships in the school.
