We have an extensive co-curricular activity programme. Broadly speaking, our Co-curricular programme can be divided into a number of categories:
Sports
Our Sports activities are many and varied. The school is a member of the Northern Tanzania Athletics Association and participates in leagues and competitions against other schools in the region. The teams are campus specific and are known as the Arusha Rhinos and the Moshi Leopards! For national events, the school often competes as one team.
Service
Service activities aim to inspire every student to be a global citizen who will be able to meet the challenges of the world. An integral part of our Service as Action program in MYP and CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) programme at DP, all secondary students participate in service activities. In the Primary programme, students participate in ‘Action’ every Unit of Inquiry. They think of ways to make a positive difference, from fundraising to advocacy.
Creativity
Although all students develop their creative skills in each subject area by developing novel and useful solutions to problems, the CAS programme and Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) encourage students to develop and use their creativity in a wide variety of experiences such as performance, creative writing, coding, music and spoken language events..
Outdoor Pursuits (OP)
