At UWC East Africa, we believe that access to education means more than a place in the classroom. For many of our students, tuition is only the beginning. Electronic learning materials, travel to and from home, personal essentials, and unexpected costs can all stand between a young person and the full UWC experience. We are committed to making sure nothing gets in the way.
That is why each year we set a goal to fully cover the additional costs of 20 students beyond their tuition. When those costs are taken care of, students can stop worrying about the extras and start focusing entirely on learning, growing, and becoming the changemakers our world needs. They can say yes to every opportunity, show up fully, and get everything this experience has to offer.
But we cannot do it alone. More students still need that support, and that is where you come in.
