Dear Families,
Next Thursday February 27th we will be hosting a Festival of the Arts on the Arusha campus from 5-7pm.
Design projects and artwork from students of all agers will be on display around the campus. This includes the diploma exhibition for Ghaidaa Dakik which will be in the Arts Pavilion. Additionally, there will be hands-on art activities for younger children in the primary art room.
Ms Amanda’s P5 class will be performing. Mr. Olivier’s M3 Drama class will be running an improv workshop for parents and families. Mr Tyler’s M1 and M2 Performing Arts students will be presenting in the Performance Area. Additionally students from the upper secondary will be performing a variety of music and dance throughout the evening.
Some Art and Design projects will be for sale by silent auction. A student initiated program called Arts for Humanity has been making art to sell. The proceeds will support Tanzanian NGOs which combat human trafficking. Lamps designed by M3 students will also be for sale by silent auction.
